Rewards

  • Throughout the week, students earn points on Class Dojo.  Points can be earned for being on task, helping others, teamwork, etc.  Points may be deducted for being off task, disrespect, talking out of turn, etc.

  • At the end of the week, students may enjoy free time at the end of the day on Friday.  Free time can include free reading time, crafts, math or language arts games, or educational videos.

  • Those students who have earned 20 points or more are eligible for Fun Friday.  For students with less than 20 points, they will be provided with a quiet area to complete unfinished classwork or read.

  • Parents who have signed up for Class Dojo will receive an email every Friday with the child’s behavior report.

  • For serious infractions, the Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS) will be followed.  This includes redirection in the classroom, removal from the work area, removal from the classroom, parent contact, and/or office referral.
